Sven Schrothe - New Managing Director of Brandenburger Liner
Since 01.04.2024, industrial engineer Sven Schrothe has been the sole managing director of Brandenburger Liner GmbH & Co. KG and Brandenburger Kanalsanierungs-GmbH.
He took over the position from Christoph Bretschneider, who managed the business on an interim basis for a period of 15 months.
Sven Schrothe has broad management experience in various industries such as composites, film extrusion, civil engineering and water purification systems. “I am looking forward to contributing my previous experience in this international environment,” says Sven Schrothe.
Shareholder Tim Brandenburger emphasizes that the appointment of a long-term managing director who will continue the company’s family-run course with a focus on partnership and quality in the interests of the Brandenburger family and lead it into the future was an important aspect in the decision. Furthermore, the autonomy and independence of Brandenburger Liner as part of the Brandenburger group of companies is always at the center of attention.

About Sven Schrothe:
Sven Schrothe is married, has 2 children (aged 23 and 15) and lives in the Palatinate. His professional career has taken him from mechanical engineering (KHS Group) to the plastics industry with PECOLIT, RKW Group and Gehr and most recently to the building materials industry with FCN Group and ACO.
In addition to production and maintenance responsibilities, Sven Schrothe was responsible for the management of business units and locations and took over the management of the company several times.
